Now, this is a song I heard on the radio not too many years ago and after liking the start of it, I recorded the rest. I know absolutely nothing about the band except that, from the below YouTube clip, they played a gig recently... Anyway, I just found the song TK1 from YouTube without a video but that doesn't matter, I can share all of it with you. Does anyone know anything about them as it's a great, catchy indie-rock tune?

We will never forget you
This is a blog to hear many classic indie songs (usually first heard by me on the John Peel radio show) which passed by largely unknown. Some of the tracks have less than perfect sound quality as I transferred them from my old cassettes to the PC. I'll include any information I know about the bands and the songs. I will put some music on here again but it may not be that often. I intend to give you stuff that you can't get anywhere any more.

Most of the songs here are more than 10 years old and didn't sell many copies when they were released. If you have an issue about whether they should be allowed to be downloaded, think about the fact that no money is being made from them here, they are linked to because I think they shouldn't have got lost in time and that people may be hearing them for the first time here.
However, if the song is being released in some way and you are currently earning revenue from this particular version then email me with proof and I'll remove it.
If you can't give me a good reason why they should be removed (and I'm talking ethically and morally here) then please just let them be.

this band is from the Nottingham/Derby area, I have seen them several times, they are pretty good.
The drummer is 'Elvis' from the excellent band Lords, whose second album will be coming out this year through Gringo records.. check them out if you don't know them.

They are a great Derby band and sadly the recent gig was their last ever, as 2 members have relocated to Ireland, 1 member is a mommy and the singer is finding success on the comedy circuit as his alter-ego Doctor Coca-Cola McDonalds (been on BBC3 etc)
